VPN Configuration Steps

Create a server group.

Configure VPN profile

Configure Auth Server

Configure VPN settings

Step 1: Configure the external auth-server or internal-db

Step 2: Create a server group and assign the configured

auth-server to it.

Step 3: Create a VPN Auth profile and select the Default

Role and Server Group

Step 4: Configure VPN-specific parameters (PPTP and

IPSec)

Step 5: Create a AAA profile and select an Initial Role

that ocntains the vpnlogon FW policy.

Step 6: Create an SSID profile and configure the

required opmode to use with VPN (typically open), SSID

name, and other parameters.

Step 7: Create a Virtual AP profile and assign the AAA

and SSID profiles previously created to it.

Step 8: Assign the Virtual AP to an AP Group/AP Name.
